RFID Scanner Configuration Utility - rf IDEAS Configuration Utility v.6

This software should already been installed on the SFI. If not you can find it at https://www.rfideas.com/support/tools/downloads

Lunch the software from the Desktop, rf IDEAS Configuration Utility v.6.exe

When the software starts it will connect to the reader automatically. Double-check if you see the model and the connection in the Device list.

Go to the Tools in the left menu.

The card analyzer tool will help you configure the reader for the card you use. Place the card on the reader and click Start.

Click Learn Card

Place the card on the reader and click Start Scan

The utility will try to read the card with all available standards that exist. Once the scanner is done you will be shown a list of standards that will work with your card. Click Auto Config.

Select one of the options to see what data that could be read from the card. Select the one that you find most useful. Click Write to save the configuration to the scanner.
