SFI > Pick > Using the barcode reader
Issue: the barcode is read and is registering, but does not connect to a product that you know is loaded into the cabinet
Solution: Ensure barcode is actually present on product description
How:
Admin Portal > Data Management > Items > Relevant item
- Double click on the item you need to check
- In it's details, go to supplier and then look down for the barcode section. If that is blank, please insert the barcode there
- Don't forget to save
- Force a synchronisation to update the SFI (Shop floor interface) - instructions for how to do this are found here
- No when you scan the barcode, it will find the product for which that barcode is the indicator
